Yitzchak Tzvi son of Mr. Yosef Ze'ev
Died 14th of Cheshvan 5696
2/6/2013 11:18 PM Hello Leah,

Left: The inscription for Isaac is: Yitchak Tzvi Ben/(son of) Reb Yosef Zev died on the 14th day of the Hebrew month of Cheshvan. The word "Reb" is a title of honor preceding his father's double given name. It does NOT imply rabbi, nor is there a surname mentioned in Hebrew. Some people use the word "Mr." to translate "Reb".

Right: The inscription for Anna reads: Chana Bat/(daughter of) Reb Tuvia died on the 18th day of the Hebrew month of Tishri. The explanation for the word Reb in front of her father's given name is the same as above.

The two Hebrew letters are the very top of the stone represent the words that translate as "Here lie".
Hope that this clarification is useful....Jo
