Can anyone help with the town name here?

Using the internet, I have been able to make out:
Photographs
B.M. Liv sh i ts ch [ie the photographer is B.M. Livschitz]
g. [ie the abbreviation for ГОРОД / Town of]
????N g [u or i] mench???

This typeset Russian text is at the bottom of a picture of 2 men who are dressed in winter coats and what look like Russian type-hats.

Thanks!
