I found this document [top half-bottom half posted separately] among my grandfather's papers. I am assuming, because of the graphics, that this is a marriage document. I realize that it is a rather long document. I am most interested in the handwritten parts containing possible dates, names, etc. The bottom half of the document is posted separately as it was too large to scan at once.
Thank you once again for your help.

1/24/2013 3:07 AM Hello Kimberly,

The grooms name is Mendel Ben/(son of) Yehudah. The bride is the daughter of Avrohom, but I cannot decipher her name....Jo
1/24/2013 6:29 AM This is of course Ketuba - religious marriage agreement. It contains standard Hebrew and Aramic text.
The handwritten details (in Yiddish)are:
Hebrew date - Monday 5th of Marheshvan 5681
Place New York
Groom Mendel son of Yehuda called Max Levy
Bride (I think) Chava daughter of Abraham called..(?)
The rest is part of the standard - sum of money paid and promised etc.
1/24/2013 7:17 AM This is just to complete the previous response.

The bride is Khava, daughter of Abraham, and she is commonly known as Carrie.

Hope this has helped you.
