Category: Translation - German Approval Date: 1/23/2013 4:32 PM Family Surname: Keim Country: France Town: Struth Date of Image: January 2, 1878	Click the picture to enlarge	I would be grateful if someone could translate this document, which I believe is a death certificate. I'm able to identify the names Zacharias Keim (son) and Aron Keim (father) but I believe this is the death certificate for Aron Keim's father (Isac? I'm not certain). Aron's mother's name, Babette Bloch is present on the document. Also, the original name (prior to the 1808 name change) may be present. I believe this is in German. It was retrieved from the Bas-Rhin Archives. Thank you very much!

...der Handelsmann Keim Aron, wohnhaft zu Struth und zeigte an dass sein Vater Zacharias Keim Ehemann von Bloch Babette, siebenzig Jahr alt israelitischer Religion wohnhaft zu Struth geboren zu Pirmasens (Rhein Pfalz) Sohn des verstorbenen Handelsmannes Isac Keim und dessen verstorbener Ehefrau Helena geborene Unbekannt zu Struth am ersten Januar des Jahres tausend acht hundert siebenzig und acht Vormittag um ein Uhr verstorben sei.
The trader Keim Aron living in Struth and declared that his father Zacharias Keim, husband of Bloch Babette, seventy years old, of Israelite religion, living in Struth born in Pirmasens (Palatinate of the Rhine), son of the late trader Isac Keim and his late wife Helena born unknown, of Struth deceased on January 1, of the year 1878, in the morning at one o'clock. ov
