Translate to English.
Looking for hints and dates of my Grandma's family.
I know she was family of six. my Grandma was
Malvine Herskovits Berger
sister-Irenk Herskovitz went to america with Grandma and died shortly after of TB cannot find any records of her. Their parents Morris and Hannah Kline Herskovits-died in Hungary 1903, 1905, Died TB. Brother and another sister died also in Hungary of TB.

This is a lovely poem written as a remembrance by "your loving relative" Piroska Ungar and dated in Miskolcz (Hungary)on May 3, 1899. Ungar is the surname and Piroska might translate to the given name of Rosie.

I am not sure about his, but it might have been written to someone by the name of Sary (Sara). The last line before the signature states: "never forget me".

Perhaps this is not clear to you, but it does give you some names with which to do more research....Jo
1/16/2013 8:18 AM He first word of the poem is "Jarj", meaning "Go", not Sary.
