On  Response
1/12/2013 4:23 AM This letter is signed by David and Blima Lazenski and is addressed to the "Sherptser friends", probably the Sherptser relief committee.
He acknowledges the receipt of the food parcel and he thanks them very much.
He is happy to have lived to see the day we have our own country. It is only very, very sad that our 6 million martyrs didn't live to have the joy to see that day. Because of that his joy is clouded; many of his nearest and dearest dreamed and fought for this moment and didn't live to see it, although they longed so much for this land and so much blood has been spilled for it. Now he hopes to be able to reconstruct his life there and build a future.
He sends regards to dear frienda Max and Dinah, and dear friend Mordecai Reshotko and wishes they all meet in the future in the land of Israel.

Hope this has helped you again.
