11/25/2012 1:08 PM All that took place in the city of Opoczno on the twentieth of November eighteen hundred sixty-four at eleven o’clock in the morning. We do hereby make known that today, in the presence of witnesses, namely Szmul Wax aged forty-six, the szkolnik and Lejbus Kienigiel aged forty-four, the szkolnik, both residing in the city of Opoczno, the religious marriage was entered into by an Orthodox Jew named Josek Herszkowicz, the bachelor aged twenty-four, his occupation being shoemaker residing in the village of Bialobrzegi, the son of Szmul and Sura Herszkowicz, born in the village of Ostrozna, and a widow named Szprynca Abramowicz, aged thirty-four, her occupation being day-labourer residing in the city of Opoczno , born in the city of Opoczno to a married couple, namely to Herszel Boczmak and Haja Sura Boczmak, bearing two names, her maiden surname being Zak (illegible), still alive. The marriage was preceded by a triple calling of banns, i.e. on the fifteenth, on the twenty-second and on the twenty-ninth of October.

NOTES: modern-day names of the places are Opoczno in the Łódzkie Viovodeship, Białobrzegi in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship & Ostrożna in the Łódzkie Voivodeship.
