I think this has to do with Verona Rozner and Adolph Steinfeld's Wedding. The translation would be greatly appreciated.

This is in German, not Hungarian. You might want to change the language (click on My ViewMate, then on the appropriate pencil icon) to see if other researchers can find out more.

I assume that "isz." is a (Hungarian spelling) abbreviation for "israelitisch". Some words are hidden in the fold of the paper, especially the town of origin of the groom. If you have the original, you might manage to unfold it carefully to see which letters are hidden.

Yikes, definitely not Hungarian... The placenames are, though, and are most likely "Kis Kun Félegyháza" (which is written as all one word nowadays: Kiskunfélegyháza) and Arad (now in Romania).

I do wonder, if not Jakob Stern is the "Vollzieher" and "Vorsteher" or the signature of the Vorsteher is missing.

But I do think the marriage took place at Vienna at the Austrian Hungarian Jewish religious community Leopoldstadt of Vienna.
So "Leopold. W." would be the name of the community not of a person...
