Category: Translation - German Approval Date: 7/29/2012 4:07 PM Family Surname: Sicherman, Schiff Country: Poland Town: Boryslaw Date of Image: 14 Mar. 1917	Click the picture to enlarge	Sent to Matylda Sicherman in Borysław by Jacob Isak Sicherman, stationed in the army in Cracow (his return address); it is postmarked Salzburg, and the picture is labeled “Hohens azburg von der Richterhöhe.” He refers to Wattens, a town in the North Tirol 13 km. from Innsbruck. This may be related to another card sent on the same day from Salzburg. 14/3 [1]917 Liebste Matylda, Ich bin ?? zint gekomen in meine ?? über gegeben ich bin v. Wien 24 ?? fahrt ?? her bis Wattens in Tirol, ich bin ?? aber die Gegend[?] ?? auch ?? Grüsse und küsse eich ?? wahrst du in Krakow?

Ich bin Erst heute früh am
Ziel gekommen u meine Mau über
gegeben ich bin v. Wien 24 Stundt
fahrt ohne auf her bis Wattens in

aber die Gegend Interessiert mich

Tentative translation:

Dear Matylda,
I arrived only this morning at the destination and I have given my [??]. I have traveled 24 ours without stop from Vienna to Wattens in Tyrol. I am tired, aber I am interested in getting to know the area.
