Would appreciate assistance with English translation of Hebrew inscription. Many thanks in advance.

7/2/2012 3:11 PM	Hello Esther, The Hebrew name on the gravestone is Eliyahu Ben/(son of) Reb Chaim. The word "Reb" preceeding the given name of Chaim is a title of honor and respect. It does NOT imply rabbi, and some people translate it as "Mr.". No Hebrew surname appears on the stone. Hope that this clarification is helpful....Jo
