Colonies of the Ukraine - A great resource clearly the result of a great deal of love and dedication and
the material covers the colonies of Ekaterinoslav, Kherson, Podolia, Taurida, and Besserabia
(the last while not in the Ukraine received and furnished a great deal of cross-population.) There are many
subsidiary lists on this site including A
Surname list of the Ekaterinoslav area communities. We continue to list these links as well under the
Shtetl and Community Sites below. But we thank Gayle Schissel Riley for sending us many
selections from each of these and from the InfoUkes sites. Send us the ones you think are important too!

Immigrants to Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil At the left side of the homepage there are spaces to fill in
the boxes with the name ("nome") and surname ("sobrenome") of the immigrant, and the
year of arrival ("ano"). If you just fill in the surname, it's OK. Click on the search button
("buscar"). If the immigrant is found, you will have the following columns answered: name,
surname, relationship (in the case of a family), year of arrival and nationality. If you wish, you
can buy a Certificate of Arrival.
