This is the fifth page of an exhibition of Zhitomir as it appears through the lens of modern artist Vyacheslav Mayboroda. Each of his pictures shows a city of which he is clearly proud whether they demonstrate neatly painted stonework commercial buildings still preserved from an earlier century or the architecture of Soviet Realism or the contrast of an electronic sign board on a busy street and families walking on a park promenade. Again we show only a small portion of what he has generously shared and thank Alex Kopelberg for his help in arranging this exhibition opportunity and Alexander Fesjuk for his assistance.
This page concentrates on the streets of Zhitomir in modern views with which, on a page we will publish later as well as on the Zhitomir Collection Point page, we will try to find more historical pictures of these same streets to contrast.
