Page Three

These pictures of modern Zhitomir are the result of the fine work and artistry of Mr. Vyacheslav Mayboroda. Alex Kopelberg. formerly of Zhitomir, knew of Vyacheslav's artistry and made the arrangements necessary for this exhibition of the Zhitomir photographs taken by Mr. Mayboroda. Alexander Fesjuk made a noted effort to get the materials to us so that we could begin.

This is the third page of Zhitomir's modern images as seen by Vyacheslav Mayboroda. The first page displays a portion of the images he generously shared of public buildings in Zhitomir, concentrating on Zhitomir's public buildings. The second page exhibited his portrayals of houses around Zhitomir. This third page is a look at the commercial buildings that served both the modern community and the older pre-World War II community.
