A Visit to the Jewish Museum in Odessa

Notes to the photos:

We were taken to see the Museum and Opera House, but we were not taken inside. The buildings look very good in that part of the city. As for the Steps, there is a funicular that takes you to the top so that you don't have to climb the steps.

The entrance to the Jewish Museum is in a courtyard behind a large building on the side street. The courtyard is falling apart. People there are working on cars, laundry hands from a window, a child played atop an abandoned well.

The Wall of the Museum was the only intact-looking wall in the courtyard. Note the Jewish ironwork in the windows.
