Stammbaum welcomes unsolicited articles, essays, news items, book reviews and letters containing original material. Papers already published or intended for publication elsewhere are discouraged, but will be considered. For such submissions, a detailed publication history of material submitted must be included, along with copies of any closely related manuscripts.

All text and references should be submitted in one electronic document (Microsoft Word or RTF formats). Notes and references must be formatted to follow the document, not embedded within it.

All figures, tables and graphics accompanying texts must be submitted separately. All images must be scanned at a substantial resolution and suitable for reproduction. Legends for each figure should be included as a list on a separate page.

All submissions should include: article title; date of submission; author's name, address, telephone and e-mail contacts; inventory of attached materials; and an abstract of no more than 300 words.
