Shtetl Focus
Navigation
This page focuses on the shtetlach (small villages) of Latvia, where our ancestors
lived prior to the Nazi Holocaust. Following 1941, a good proportion of these
shtetlach were declared Judenrein, free of Jews. We invite SIG members who have
researched and/or visited their ancestral towns to contribute material to
this site. We have also included links to other sites that profile Latvian towns.
Our shtetlach are also part of the JewishGen KehilaLinks
project.
