Please note the following announcement and instructions regarding these towns and/or the noted records:
JRI - POLAND: POLISH STATE ARCHIVES PROJECT Indices for previously unavailable records The goal of the Jewish Records Indexing - Poland milestone agreement with the Polish State Archives is to index all Jewish vital records more than 100 years old in the Polish State Archives that are not included in the microfilm collection of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons). Copies of these records are available from the Polish State Archives. Access the special instructions regarding the
order form.
Kielce Polish State Archives (PSA) project: Indexing is proceeding on an archive by archive basis and data entry is now complete for the records of Chęciny, Kielce and Lopuczno. Indexing of records for remaining towns in the Kielce Archives (Bodzentyn, Daleszyce, Końskie, Korzecko, Nowa Slupia and Radoszyce will be undertaken as a Town Leader is appointed for each of the towns. To volunteer to become a Town Leader, please contact Kielce Archive Coordinator, Erez Gotlieb at erezgot@yahoo.com. As the fundraising target is reached for each town, the data is processed and the information from the indices will become available on-line. See the Project Status page for the current fundraising status for the towns in the Kielce project.
