During
this stimulating lecture, Dr. Goodwin discusses films that reveal
aspects of the lives of Jewish people--culturally, socially,
politically, and economically. Movies that are especially
meaningful are discussed in depth: Fiddler
on the Roof, The Mortal Storm, The Diary of Anne Frank, Schindler's
List, and Gentleman's Agreement. The audience is invited
to share their knowledge of films with which they are familiar.
There is also a Part II to this talk, which can be booked
separately.
