Cousin Marriages in History and Jewish Custom

 

There are a number of features that distinguish Jewish genealogy from that of other groups, including the high probability that many of our ancestors probably were closely related to each other.  A century or more ago, marriages between close cousins occurred much more frequently than they do today.  Dr.Reiss will discuss how this practice has helped to make Jewish genealogy unique.
