The JHSCJ maintains an Archival Collection housed at 228 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

The Archives are boxed in special acid free cartons and kept in a humidity and temperature controlled room.

They include:

  • Organizational documents
  • Congregational artifacts
  • Historical Records
  • Photographs
  • Tapes of oral histories
  • Unusual memorabilia concerning our Jewish area
  • Several area Jewish Newspapers

Our research library contains an extensive collection of books and pamphlets on subjects pertaining to the Jewish-American experience.

Additional archival materials are sought and will be carefully incorporated within the collection. We are also always looking for volunteers to help process the archival materials. If you are intersted please contact our office at jhscj@cs.com.

Schedule of Fees:
Our office is free and open for research. If you need copies made of our material, there is a 10 cent per page charge. If you are unable to get here, and would like us to do the research for you, we charge $15. per hour for this service.
