We are affiliated with the Jewish Historical Society of Southern Alberta, and are members of the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies, which links our members with sister societies worldwide.

 

OUR GOALS:

 

providing a resource to all Jewish genealogists with ties to Alberta and Canada
featuring speakers, workshops and seminars aimed at familiarizing members with research procedures and documental sources in Alberta, and the Federal archives
helping individuals to master the computer as an invaluable genealogical tool
locating information on Holocaust victims, and finding survivors

developing genealogy as an adjunct in tracing and advising those with rare familial genetic traits
