Lecture Series

Download the JGSLI Programs Sept. 2013 – June 2014

JGSLI’s Lecture Series runs September to June, usually on the fourth Sunday of the month at rotating locations around Long Island.  The varied programs include guest lectures, workshops, roundtable discussions and working sessions. There is always the opportunity to network, ask questions and learn from others. Visitors are welcome at no charge.

Meetings and events are announced via our Facebook group.  Any last minute changes are also announced via Facebook and membership list emails.

Meetings consist of short announcements and a presentation by a noted speaker in the genealogy field.

Meetings start at 2pm but come early to get time & help from a Mishpocha Maven!  Mishpocha Mavens can help you figure out where to start, point you in new directions, or help you break through a brick wall.

In case of inclement weather, etc., please call the listed location to confirm they will still be open.  As always, JGSLI Membership Forms and other helpful resources will be on hand.
