The Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois (JGSI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping members collect, preserve, and perpetuate the records and history of their ancestors. We serve as a resource for the worldwide community to research their Chicago area Jewish roots.
We conduct monthly meetings with speakers on a wide range of topics. We provide access to research materials in our library, publish a newsletter - Morasha - and maintain an online searchable death index. |
Sunday February 21, 2010
Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois will present “Ask the Experts and Knocking Down Those Brick Walls” on Sunday, February 21, 2010, 2 p.m. at Temple Beth Israel, 3601 W. Dempster Street, Skokie. We invite you to ask any genealogical related questions you may have regarding your research into your family’s history.
12:30 - The temple will open to members
interested in library materials, needing help with genealogical sites on
the internet or having genealogical related questions.
