JGSGW Genealogy Library

The JGSGW Library will be open on Sunday May 5, from 10 AM to noon.
Books and the Ancestry.com World Edition will be available.

We now have access to the Ancestry.com World Edition through our library. Access is available during normal library hours.

Location

The JGSGW genealogy library is at its new location at the B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, Maryland 20852. It is co-located with the Chod Media Center on the second floor.

Library Hours
The following are the hours for the JGSGW Genealogy Library, in the Chod Media Center of B'nai Israel Congregation. We welcome all members. 
 
Wednesdays Open 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, by appointment only. 24 hours notice required; contact

Sundays, following meetings at B'nai Israel

Open 3:00 – 4:30 pm

The library will be closed on Shabbat, Jewish and Federal holidays.

The Library is non-circulating for reference only and is open to members of JGSGW and B'nai Israel (with a B'nai Israel library card).

Included in the collection are about 300 recorded lectures on subjects of particular interest to Jewish genealogists. Most of the lectures are about one-hour in length and may be listened to at one of the 12 workstations located in the Chod Media Center.
