Dr. Janette Silverman has been involved in Jewish genealogical research for nearly 35 years. She is an AncestryProGenealogists Senior Research Manager, JewishGen Discussion Group moderator, Coordinator of JewishGen's Ukraine SIG, Lead Co-Chair of the International Association of Jewish Genealogy Societies (IAJGS) 2016 conference in Seattle Washington, and a member of the IAJGS membership committee. Janette previously served as president of the Phoenix Jewish Genealogy Society and teaches classes on Jewish Genealogy Research. Her doctoral dissertation was on Jewish genealogical research, entitled "In Living Memory."
