Jewish Genealogical Society of Buffalo was founded in 1986 by Ferne Mittleman
and Muriel Selling to encourage members to research their family history
and facilitate their investigation.
We
have been represented at conferences of the IAJGS by members of the board
who report back to the membership about advances in research. We
encourage subscriptions to professional genealogical journals which are
a valuable aid in research techniques.
