Jewish Communities and Records (JCR-UK) is a joint project between JGSGB and JewishGen to record genealogical and historical information concerning the Jewish communities of the United Kingdom.

Many of the communities and congregations within these pages have scant information and we would be grateful if you were able to let us have any information that you might have.

Here is just one example of a way that you could help us to make this website a legacy for future generations. 

If you would go to www.jewishgen.org/jcr-uk/Community/kingston_lib/index.htm and look at the section called Other Information you will see that in this example three of the sections are empty.
 

There are a great many more that need to be padded out be they in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. 

If everyone who reads this page were to go and look at their own congregation or community within the JCR-UK website and were to find that there are empty sections, as the example above, it would be invaluable if you were able to help fill them.  Please contact the webmaster David Shulman or Louise Messik if you have anything, however small, that you could add.
