Associated with the Leeds Jewish Workers Co-Operative Society (until 1952, the Leeds Jewish Workers Burial and Trading Society.)


Wintoun Street, Leeds (previously a Baptist Church, purchased in 1923 for 5,000)


1924 (but was successor to the Leeds Jewish Workers Burial and Trading Society Congregation in Lady Lane)

Current Status:

Closed - merged with Vilna Synagogue to form Leeds New Central Vilna Synagogue in 1955.

The burial grounds used by this congregation were at the New Farnley Cemeteries. The relevant sections are now administered by the Etz Chaim Synagogue.
