Shabbat day services are held in community venues in Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester. Friday evening and Saturday evening Havdalah services are normally held in members’ homes.(iii)

The congregation is a constituent synagogue of the the Movement for Reform Judaism (formerly the Reform Synagogues of Great Britain), having previously been an associate community from about 1988 to about 1995,(viii) and initially an affiliate of Bournemouth Reform Synagogue.(ix)

The congregation is a registered charity (no. 1040109), registered on 16 August 1994. Its governing document is the congregation's constitution adopted 20 June 1993, as amended 26 April 1994 and 2 September 2007.(xv)
