1902, by some 150 members who seceded from the Chevra Kadisha Synagogue.

Current Status:

Closed 1956 - merged with the Great Synagogue to form Great Central Synagogue.

Ashkenazi Orthodox

1938 - 400 seatholders (Jewish Year Book 1939)
1955 - 300 seatholders (Jewish Year Book 1956)
