Please note that this index does not use the Daitch-Mokotoff soundex system. Be creative in guessing how your ancestral name may have been spelled. For example, if you are searching for a name like "Eisenstadt", you should look under "Eg-Em" for "Eisenstadt", and also under "It-Iz" for "Izenstadt".
