SURRAY
Beth Tikvah Cemetery: Beth Tikvah synagogue has both a traditional
burial society and a cemetery, operated under the guidelines and regulations
established by the Cemetery Committee and the Board of the synagogue. The burial
society (Chevra Kadisha) consists of twenty-four members of the synagogue who
prepare for the burials of late members of Beth Tikvah. In 1987, Beth Tikvah
entered into an agreement with a cemetery management company whereby they have a
perpetual lease on 308 plots. This was later increased by a further 500 plots.
Located on 28th Avenue (just west of King George Highway) in South Surrey.
