PURPOSE: We will contribute burial documentation to the International Jewish Cemetery Project, whose purpose is to identify all Jewish burials in the world. For this particular project, we will concentrate on _____ section of the ________ Cemetery in ____ (City, State). We will identify the name, date of death, age at death, parent name(s), and plot location from each headstone in this section. We also will identify other family relationships, where possible. We intend to record approximately ___ otherwise unidentified burials. Following the project, all of this information will be entered into an online searchable world-wide computerized database, the JOWBR. Local records will be kept by the ____Jewish Historical Society/Jewish Genealogical Society and ____, Cemetery Administrator. We will create an invaluable tool to trace Jewish roots and keep alive the memory of our ancestors.
