TINDERMA:
"Ethnic consciousness was revived by an incident in 1963. Near the village of Tinderma, a group of fishermen wanted to build a village on the grounds of the former Al Yahudi cemetery. The Jews rose up in strong opposition -- and with a new awareness of their identity.  [September 2002]
