A photo Post card of a street scene in Vitebsk: City in Belorussia, Jews came there in the sixteen century, in the beginning of the twentieth century more than 55% of population was Jewish, a religious and cultural center, Chagall studied and lived there, city was destroyed during WW2, Jews who did not flee were massacred.
