A view from the school where I worked toward the backyards of Main street. The road runs from Stolbtsy to Nesvizh. In the area of the main square you can see an orthodox church on the left and a catholic church on the right. A synagogue was in the same area, but was destroyed. The churches also were used as warehouses. This picture made in the early spring - there is snow on the ground. A few days later there was a flood - the field you see was covered by water and some of houses close to us were flooded. (contributed by Vitaly Charny, 1999)
