I arrived in Yedinitz to live with my aunt Chava Loibman in 1930, half a year after the death of uncle Shmuel. He died at the age of seventy, on the day before the eve of Shavuot. He bequeathed the synagogue that he founded a couple of decades earlier to the congregants. His large home, where he and his wife lived, was bequeathed to be turned into a hospital. In addition to the building, he left over a large sum of money. |
