Masha Slep: They had six children. When they meant to name their son as Yehoshua-David (after Dov-Arie's grandfather), it upset my father, whose name was David-Mordechai. In order to appease him they called the boy by the nickname Shike. [In fact, the baby was listed as David Motelis, born September 16, 1936]. They called their second son Baruch-Moshe.
