Information Question
Category: Do you recognize?
Family Surname: Pokorny
Country: Netherlands
Town: Amsterdam
Date of Image: 1960s
This is a photo of my grandmother Domicela Pokorny. Born on the 23rd of July 1919 in Wieliczka, Poland (near Krakow). She moved to the Netherlands after 1944. I have been trying to find information about her and her family for the last two years.

All I discovered was that she was Jewish and never married my grandfather. Her brother was killed at the conservatory in Krakow at the start of WW II, and the family was wealthy. She was also called "Rosa" and had a cousin who lived in Antwerpen after 1945. She never learned Dutch and only spoke hebrew and polish.

She died in Amsterdam, 16 April 1969 leaving behind her partner Teunis Kraaijenbrink and her two sons:

Ingnax Ramon Hendrik, born 13 February 1947
Alexander Robert Donald, born 25 February 1949

If you can help me with information concerning the Pokorny family from Wieliczka in any way, I would be very grateful!
