Browse the VM archive to view user-generated images of Jewish historical subjects, documents, culture and places, up close. A new response feature now allows you to add your response to those older, often unanswered archived images. Please respond with relevant information when you can. Here's how. Sort the first column (VM ID) by clicking on the column title for the oldest or the latest images. Select an image. Next click "Add Response".

Alternatively, narrow your search by clicking "Search Archive," above, and type specific search terms.

Your input deserves our thanks and praise, for it may help a Gen'er in new and rewarding ways.
Countless unnamed and dedicated volunteers from across the globe deserve our gratitude. They freely offer their time and skills responding to ViewMate requests. Giving to others will come back to them.

Note: Viewmate's first saved image is #227.

To sort by a column, click the column title. Then click the sort icon [D] to reverse the order.
You will be able to view responses online if available. Items will open in a new browser window.

10/25/2009 Can anyone identify these two women? I feel that they may be from the Reicher branch of my family, but I don't know. They might also be Silbermanns, or they might be neither. It's a mystery. View the post with its 1 response

10/25/2009 I am trying to locate the relatives of this family in the USA. I was told at the Diaspora Museum in Tel Aviv that the children had moved to the USA. I am not sure whether that means the daughter and her children or just the children. I would like to make contact with them as I am working on an Arenberg/Aronberg family tree.
Sincerely,
Harriet Arnberg Weidenbaum, Huntington, NY USA
