8/3/2011 5:00 PM This is the second part of the marriage certificate for Aron Kransdorf.

His is the 3rd entry at the bottom of the page. As far as I know his wife was Sara Sandler.

Any help in deciphering what is on this would be very much appreciated.

19549 Translation - Hebrew

8/3/2011 4:31 PM Picture of young man on the front of the postcard, stamp is in Russian.

Kind of hard to read, so I accented the letters.

Family originated in Minsk. Was told that his name was Jochael Rafael Birer... but I have my doubts.

Would love to know what he wrote and what his name is.

Possible Surnames
We believe the name was originally "Pryklaz" and the story goes that there was an argument over what the name REALLY was... After they settled in the United States, the variations have branched off into Priklas, Pricklaz, Prickless, Pricklass, Fricklas, Fricklette, Bricklas, Brickles, Briklod, Briklas.

Possible First Names
The surname is not common and I've found very few records... none which I really confirmed was actually any relation to my family. These are the names that I've seen or family members with the name Morris, Mendel, Raphael, Isaac, Abraham, Tevel, Jacob, Julius, Jacob, Yudelev, Tevia

8/3/2011 4:30 PM My great grandfather Rabbi David Belasoff retired to Saskatoon in 1917 and this certificate was issued to him. I am interest in what responsibilities he was granted to perform as I believe that is the nature of this document, any names of persons and also if there is a date on it.

Any assistance is very much appreciated.
