3/28/2012 5:14 PM This letter from 1936 was sent to my grandparents. Please help me translate it.
It was in the back of a picture. This way maybe I can determine who were the persons in the photo.
Thanks a lot.

3/25/2012 4:12 PM This is the 1834 death registration of Sora Manne from Krakow age 80. I would like to know the following:
1) Exact death date
2) is Nathan Manne her father or Husband
3) Is Samuel Manne (who is seemingly one of the reporters) her son?
4) Any additional details that you can provide about the document.
Thanks in advance

3/25/2012 4:11 PM This is some writing on the back of a picture of Manya Sorkin and her husband. The picture is torn, so some words will be cut off, but I'd like to know if there are any names, places, or dates in this piece and if there is anything else that would help us identify these family members. 22162 Interpretation

3/25/2012 4:10 PM My great-grandfather was born in Odesa in about 1886. This picture is purported to be of his father, my great-great-grandfather. I would like to know if there is a significance to the clothing he is wearing, particularly the striped pants and bolo tie. Was this perhaps the uniform of some sort of beneficial society or other organization? Thanks! (Edit: The reverse of this image has been posted nearby, as VM 22163.) 22163 Translation - Yiddish

3/25/2012 4:10 PM Here is the reverse of an image I posted earlier of a man wearing a top hat and striped pants (Edit: See VM 22162). His son was my great-grandfather, Henry Anflick, who was born in Odesa in about 1886. I would like a possible translation of what is left of the Yiddish writing. Unfortunately, the photo appears to have been cut away long ago to fit in a small picture frame. Only a portion of the writing remains. View the post with its 1 response
