20930 Translation - Polish

12/4/2011 4:15 PM I would like a complete translation. I'm trying to find out if these are children of my great-grandparents-Sura Itta Goldsztejn and Moshe Goldsztejn. There is another name involved because of several marriages. . . something like Waragyinskiwi. My grandfather was Icek Goldsztejn. Other children were Haskell Goldsztejn and David Lipa Goldsztejn. There were about 13 children. View the post with its 2 responses
20925 Translation - German

12/4/2011 4:14 PM Page 1 of a two page list. The second page is VM 20918. It is the will of Zerline Moses Löwenstein whose estate consisted of her home and its contents. Her son, Albert gen. Alfred and unmarried daughter Rosa [later Rosa LORCH] lived in the house with their mother.
The handwritten text has been deciphered but the nature of a few of the items listed is still uncertain.

12/4/2011 4:13 PM This is a portion of a Page of Testimony concerning a 17-year old male surname Tepper from Rowno, Wolyn Gubernia (the POT gives the country as Poland). He was a victim of the Shoah in Rowno in 1941. This portion of the POT gives information about the submitter, Moshe Zeidel Zimrat. I would appreciate a translation of this information, especially his address and other information which would enable me to contact him. View the post with its 5 responses
20918 Translation - German

12/4/2011 4:13 PM Page 2 of the two page will of my great grandmother Zerline MOSES Löwenstein. She died in December, 1900. Her husband, Eleasar died in 1897. This document must have been composed between 1897 and 1901.
Her will listed the contents of the home in which half of her 13 children had been born. Two or 3 of the chldren, Albert gen. Alfred and Rosa Löwenstein (later LORCH) and, perhaps, Baruch gen. Bernhard lived in the house with Zerline.

We are still uncertain about the nature of some the items listed in this home inventory.

20903 Translation - Yiddish

11/30/2011 4:17 PM These two images of sisters were taken by a professional photographer - the left image is a Happy New Year card with Yiddish on it. This left image was taken at Hurwitz, on Houston St., in NY. I suspect the family may be related to one of my surnames LANE, YUDELOWITZ, FRAIDER, BLANKFORT, but have no idea which. The right image appears on the front of a postcard. View the post with its 1 response
