22707 Translation - Polish

5/2/2012 4:41 PM This is Widawa 1857 birth # 23. I am researching a Yisrael the son of the Rabbi of Widawa Yitzchok Taubenblatt. If I understand correctly, this would appear to be the birth registration of an Icik (also Yitzchak), so it may not be the son of Yitzchok. I would appreciate any information about this document including names and dates.
Thanks

5/2/2012 4:40 PM this is the inscription on the back of a photo of 3 unknown children; I think it is Russian. The top line is perhaps a date? Then there's something written below. View the post with its 1 response

5/2/2012 4:40 PM This is a partial postcard so I am not sure if there are words missing. I have been so fortunate to have two of my postcards translated. This is the last and I am hoping someone can help me figure out my searching. My grandfather's family, was evacuated in 1941 from Volochisk ahead of the Nazis. To this day, I have been trying to locate missing family members but am hindered by lack of children's surnames. I know they were alive in 1960. Thank you so much for your help! This is a letter, written in Yiddish (or Hebrew, I suppose) to Moise Saltzman in Havana, Cuba. I think it was written by my great-uncle Joe Litman. Either written from Romania or the USA.
Other possible names:
Joe's family: sister Manea (husband Herman, son Charles), brothers Moise, Yankel, Boris, Harry...

Hello, this is written on the back of a photo of Gizika/Zizi Litman to her Aunt & Uncle, Herman & Manea Cohn. I think Herman and Manea (my grandparents) were in Chernovitz at the time.
From the looks of the photo, Paul was her boyfriend or engaged? Hoping the text says something about that. She died in the Holocaust, at, I think, 16. She was in plays and acting, so he might have been a cast member in some play she was in. I think it's in Romanian. Might not be. Thank you!
