Of interest is the bottom entry in this 1852 marriage register of the Jewish Community of Mattersdorf, Hungary. The first column shows that Aron Löb is a rosendingel born in Lackenbach. What is a rosendingel? The next column is of greatest importance as it reveals the name of his parents. I can’t decipher it. Please help. I can read the rest of this marriage record.

4/27/2014 3:42 PM I am not sure that it reads Rosendingel, but rather Rosenstingel. It might be a name. The next column I can make out the name Sussel and at the bottom it says, "Bettie die Mutter" Bettie the mother. The other columns have the name Goldschmied not Gotesshmid. The name means goldsmith.
Hope that helps a bit,
Evelyn
