5/23/2014 5:11 AM It came to pass in the Town of Gniewoszow on the twentieth day of March in the year of one thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven at the hour of three in the afternoon. Appeared personally Orthodox Jew Wulf Wajngurt, the local Deputy Rabbi, accompanied by

Orthodox Jew Herszek Tyrangiel, the bachelor, nineteen years of age, living with his parents in the Village of Meciszow, born in the Village of Meciszow located within Suskowola Commune to Kielman and Tauba, the Tyrangiels, a married couple,

and Dwojra Cajgfingier, the maiden who was already seventeen years of age at the time[vide birth certificate, in fidem Nowinski (signed)]*, living with her parents in Gniewoszow, born to Szlama and Ryfka Ruchla, the Cajgfingiers, a married couple,

and declared in the presence of Kielman Tyrangiel, the father of Herszek Tyrangiel, and Szlama Cajgfingier, the father of Dwojra Cajgfingier, as well as in the presence of witnesses Mendel Rozenblat, a synagogue caretaker, and Gitman Glasman, a szkolnik, both of them being forty-six years of age and residing in the Town of Gniewoszow, that the religious marriage had been entered into in front of him that day by Herszek Tyrangiel and Dwojra Cajgfingier following

triple proclamation of banns held in Zwolen Synagogue and Gniewoszow Synagogoue on the twenty-eighth day of February as well as the seventh and the fourteenth day of March of the current year,

and verbal consent to that marriage granted by fathers of the newlyweds, both of them present here,

and no objections relating to existing impediments to that marriage raised by anyone,

and, as per the newlyweds’ statement made at that particular moment, no premarital agreement made by them between each other.

The actual act was read aloud to the appearers and subsequently signed by the Deputy Rabbi and the first-mentioned witness. The other appearers did not know how to write.
