On  Response
11/6/2013 5:57 PM Hello!

I registered and paid my member dues. I have one question and I'm asking it again. Please! My great-grandfather Adolf Rajsapfel, who lived with my great-grandmother from 1939 in Vilnius was arrested in 1944 and died to Majdanek (or a nearby camp). When the Soviet troops came, my great grandmother Aleksandra Rajsapfel was repatriated within 24 hours from her house to Poland. For more than 40 years she searched for information about Adolf's death. My daughter, her great great grandaughter, studied at a Jewish school, but the only documents we have are from Yad Vashem, confirming his birth in Krakow. Please help.I worked with the archives in Moscow, but they're only about military related, but my great grandfather was an opera singer in Krakow and is is no way related to the military. I'm writing to your site as my last hope. With respect, Svetlana Konstatinovna (there is no last name listed)
