Hello........Looking for interpretation of the first word of this cropped portion from a 1912 passenger list. It is the nae of the relative from the old country. I "think" its Unckle K. Rychman and would appreciated anyone's insight.

Thanks so much........Mark

11/6/2013 6:33 PM Hello Mark,

The name appears to be ????? K. Rychman. As for the first word, I cannot decipher it. If it is listed as someone's name, it would NOT include "Uncle". However, if it is in a column asking for the person's relationship, then "Uncle would be in order.

I have a feeling that there is a different first name for which we are searching here.

That first word appears to be "nach" which simply means "to" in German. It would be the response to "where are you going in the US.?-- to K. Rychman.
