It is said that my husband's grandfather recorded all births in the family in a book and this is a page from the book. I think I know what branch this is due to the years but I cannot tell the rest.

9/22/2013 5:47 AM It's indeed a mixture of Hebrew and Yiddish.

My daughter Henye Liba was born on Wednesday the 26 of Kheshvan, 5666 here in Motele (?) 1895

Henye's children, my grandchildren
Simcha was born [male genedered verb] on Monday 18 days into the month of Elul 5687 here in Chicago 1918

Dyna (?) was born [female gendered verb]8 days [in Hebrew and in Yiddish]into the month of Adar, Wednesday 8th Adra 5682 here in Chicago 8th March 1922

Joshua was born on Tuesday 4th of the month of Adar II [there are 2 Adar's in a leap year] in the year 5687,1927 here Chicago on 8th March in 1917.
