Same 1894 Headstone as my other upload I did a few minutes ago. I tweaked the photo to see if better contrast will make a difference. Looking for full translation and at least decedent's name and the name of his father. Thank you.

9/8/2013 7:25 PM Hello William,

The name appears to be Boruch Ben/(son of) Reb Menachem Mendel Perelman. The word Reb is an honorific title used before the father's name, however it does NOT necessarily indicate rabbi.

Preceding the deceased's name of Boruch, there are three Hebrew letters which look like they could be Mem-Vav-Hay. If this is so, it stands for "our teacher and rabbi".

The final five Hebrew letters stand for the often used phrase: "May his soul be bound in the bonds of everlasting life.

Hope that this is helpful....Jo

This is why we cry, on the death of
The enormous Rabbi Mr. Baruch the son of Menachem Mendel Perilman
May his soul be bound in the eternal life.

Where is this tombstone located? I assume that this is from a Rabbi based on the title הרב המופלג
